Colin’s Catch Of The Day: Alexandria Row Home Renovation, Too Small or Just Right?

For today’s catch we’re checking out a renovated 1920 City of Alexandria row home. Located within walking distance of King St., the Potomac, Braddock Rd. Metro, and possibly even Del Ray’s great restaurants if you’re up for it, this home is essentially new on the inside, and includes an off-street parking space.

After originally being priced at $495,000 then $475,000, and now $465,000 the home provides a rare opportunity to own something other than a condo in the City of Alexandria for under $500,000 yet still have such great walkability.

So now that the property has been on the market for 84 days, what’s the holdup? My suspicion is that the size of the home is the biggest problem facing 808 Pendleton. The tax record shows the property is a between 700-800 square feet. Although I would guess it’s closer to 1,000 square feet, and the home feels great inside, the small space means very little storage in this case.

What do you think? Too small? Or is this a hidden gem at a bargain price?

We're sorry, but we couldn't find MLS # AX7816686 in our database. This property may be a new listing or possibly taken off the market. Please check back again.
