Speaking of Walkable: Mosaic District Fast Becoming a Reality

Recently I have had an increased emphasis on neighborhood walkability and what some of the DC area’s most walkable communities are. Well, a new neighborhood anchored in walkability is on the horizon: The Mosaic District near the Dunn Loring Metro in Fairfax County. With shopping, restaurants, office space, and housing (supplied in large part by EYA Properties), this new “town center” oriented neighborhood will be yet another beacon of walkable living in Northern Virginia. And if, as a resident, commuting would still be part of your routine, the Dunn Loring Metro station will be a short walk or bus ride away.

I have been excited about this area for quite sometime now, and it is great to see the final preparations being made to bring it to life.

If you are interested in making the Mosaic District home, you can actually make your move now with EYA Properties well under way with sale of brand new town homes within the district.

For a look at what you can expect from the Mosaic District and a sneak peak at the town homes being constructed right now, check out this animation from EYA’s website: Personally, I digging the European look, you? See the available town home models below the video…
